Sarah Ferroni, Nurse Practitioner

Sarah Ferroni, nurse practitioner, received her Master of Science in nursing from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. She has nursing experience in emergency care, medical surgery, intensive care, and home health care. Since graduating in 2017, she has worked in primary care. Sarah enjoys living in Alaska and exploring the beautiful sites it has to offer. She is excited to provide primary care services at the C’eyiits’ Hwnax Life House Community Health Center.

RN Case Manager

Vicki Kindseth, registered nurse (RN) case manager, has been a Chickaloon community member since 1983 and a practicing RN in Alaska since 1977. Her nursing focus is on patient advocacy, education, prevention of disease, and good health habits (including traditional and complementary medicine). Vicky feels blessed to live and practice in her community.

Christine Hall, CMA

Certified Medical Assistant

Christine Hall, Certified Medical Assistant, is a lifelong Alaskan raised in Anchorage who now lives in the Mat-Su Borough. She has previously worked for Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium as an assistant case manager and has a certificate in medical assisting. She is very excited to be working with the Chickaloon Native Village and Sutton community at the C’eyiits’ Hwnax Life House Community Health Center.

Tiffany LaRue

Tiffany LaRue

Manager

Tiffany LaRue, manager, is a lifelong Alaskan originally from Juneau and Kake, Alaska before moving to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in 2018. She is Tlingit, Filipino, Scottish, and Swedish. Tiffany previously worked with local Tribes in education, community outreach, local historical events, with the youth community, with Alaska Native Elders and Indigenous language speakers, artists, and Tribal members. Some of her hobbies include spending time with family, hiking, cabin trips, attending local community events, foraging mushrooms, and any activities that involve the outdoors.

Ebba Paniptchuk

Administrative Support

Ebba Paniptchuk has lived in Alaska all her life. Born and raised in Shaktoolik, she moved in October 1999. Ebba enjoys watching and playing basketball, fishing for halibut and salmon, and picking blueberries. She loves her family and friends, and enjoys listening to the birds in the early morning while drinking a good cup of coffee. Ebba started working for SCF in April 2015 and says, “I enjoy every bit of my job.”

Christoper Chong, Pharm.D., MBA-HM, BCPS, AE-C

Pharmacist

Christopher (Chris) Chong, pharmacist, was born and raised in Anchorage. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy in 2014 from the University of Montana Skaggs School of Pharmacy and completed his post-graduate year pharmacy residency training at Southcentral Foundation. Chris is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and has served as an integrated clinical pharmacist at the Benteh Nuutah Valley Native Primary Care Center in Wasilla since 2015. He has a strong interest in quality and process improvement initiatives and developing sustainable clinical programs within the primary care setting. Chris likes to hike, travel, explore new places, and meet people from all over the world.

Mallory Reeves

Mallory Reeves

Registered Dietitian

Mallory Reeves, registered dietitian, was born and raised in Anchorage and has lived in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough since 2015. She enjoys snowmachining, downhill skiing, snowboarding, hiking, wake surfing, and dirt biking. Mallory has two dogs, one cat, and loves to travel. She is looking forward to working with community members at C’eyiits’ Hwnax Life House Community Health Center.

Acupuncturist

Michael Wedge, acupuncturist, began his health care career in San Diego, California as an emergency medical technician. He was then accepted into the University of California San Diego mobile intensive care paramedic program. After 12 years in emergency medical services, Michael moved to attend the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. After graduation he moved to Alaska and opened Premier Acupuncture and Complementary Medicine, retiring after 30 years. His retirement now includes working for Southcentral Foundation.

Dr. Elizabeth Turgeon

Dr. Elizabeth Turgeon

Physician

Dr. Elizabeth Turgeon, physician, attended medical school at the University of Arizona and completed a family medicine residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Turgeon practiced in Cordova for five years and had a family medicine practice in Wasilla for 12 years. She joined Southcentral Foundation in 2018. Dr. Turgeon raised her children in Alaska and in her spare time enjoys hiking, fishing, quilting, and drag racing with her husband.
